Comprehensive Ear Training

Comprehensive Ear Training has been included in the Royal Conservatory of Music Examination and the Music Development Program Syllabus as recommended reference material

It’s so easy- (1)- choose the session you wish to work on and find the worksheet in the Professional Series (no Worksheets in the Student Series)  (2)  Listen as the CD or SMF plays the exercise  (3)  respond to the exercise and record your answers to the chord, interval, cadence and meter exercises   (4)  check your answers with the answers printed in the book.

If you’re a teacher or a serious student who wants the most complete Ear Training System, you need the Comprehensive Ear Training Professional Series.  With double the exercises of the Student Series, Introductory and Additional ‘target’ exercises, and Worksheets to monitor your progress,  it’s a great value!

If you’re a student taking exams, we recommend the Comprehensive Ear Training Student Series. For less than the cost of one lesson, students can do daily practice sessions in their home at anytime. The Student Series is simple and affordable. There are no work sheets and the music is not completely scored in the CD answer booklet and there are only half the exercises of the Professional Series.

The instrument sound on the CD s a piano, and the exercises are played in the treble and bass clefs.
